Christmas To-Do Lists

Day 7's prompt in Journal Your Christmas was to write about your Christmas shopping and any To-Do lists you may have. Well, I am the Queen of To-Do lists, AND I love shopping! Plenty to write about!  Plus, I had just bought some Sakura Gelly Roll pens to start journaling with instead of my black Pitt pen, so I pretty much covered this page with sparkly turquoise-ness.

Still Journaling my Christmas...

The Journal Your Christmas prompt for Day 8 was "What you see". As in, right in front of your face...right now...   Because we put up our tree today, and because we don't have a camera at the moment (I hope Santa will bring a new camera to this good little girl!!!), I used a picture of a tree from a Christmas past. 10 years past, to be exact.
 

See that adorable, chubby little baby over there on the right? Yeah, he's as tall as my eyebrows now and is the stud muffin of the 6th grade class.  And the goofy-looking one on the left, in the tie-dyed shirt and purple sweat pants? (dude, he totally gets his fashion sense from his father)  He'll be at drinking age next month. Dang, but those little crumb snatchers grow up fast!

Journaling my Christmas

It has been so long since I've posted! All two of you fans out there are probably worried sick about me, but never fear! I am still here! As if I didn't have enough blog stress piled on my head for NaNoBloPo last month, or don't have enough holiday activities to deal with this month,  I am participating in Journal Your Christmas this December. This is a challenge-type thingie in which you keep a daily journal throughout the month of December and on until January 6th, which is the 12th day of Christmas. Each morning, Shimelle, the organizer, provides us with a daily prompt with a Christmas-y theme to stimulate our artistic juices. Day 1's prompt was to journal your manifesto:

I will post more pages from my Christmas journal as the holidays progress. And I'm afraid I  will probably back-date some posts since I'm behind on my journal entries. Is that bad blog etiquette? I have no idea... I'm a blognoramus.
